About the course
The course will run for 3 consecutive days starting on Tuesday.
It is ideal to start your pre-learning and preparation 30 days prior to your course start date.
Once the remaining balance of your course is settled, you will receive access to the online tutorials.
Please allocate time to practice! We have guided steps in the tutorials to assist you with this.

What if I am not confident to tattoo clients on my own after training?
We invite you to continue training for free.
Option 1:
Continue working on models at our studio, with trainers available to assist if/when needed.
Option 2:
You have an unlimited invitation re-sit any event of the same service category.
There is so much new information to take in during your complete beginner fundamentals course, so re-sitting a day or two of the same event a month later, can really help to polish up some of the more advanced skills you'll be learning in your beginner class!
We have even had cases where a beginner student has had a baby then returned a year later to refresh skills and dive back into the industry.
Your successful completion is our highest priority! The only condition to redeem this guarantee is that you must follow the simple guided instructions and practice as directed.
Option 3:
If travel is an issue and you're unable to return to our studio to work on more models, we have options to set up Zoom training; re-sit events (for free) by Zoom, or book a 1:1 Zoom Masterclasses (also free).
No other Academy offers these unlimited support opportunities!
Are there any free kit inclusions?
With our beginner courses, you will receive a free machine kit and power supply with universal needles. You'll be provided an inventory listing all other equipment you need with recommended suppliers.

No, your time with us is unlimited.
I have no beauty experience, is this for me?
If you are motivated and passionate then yes.
I (Talina) came from a non-beauty background with no experience whatsoever and I had terrible initial training (that won’t be an issue for you). I had to work twice as hard to overcome the challenges but that is exactly what made me successful today.
Coming from a non-beauty background means you will be starting ‘cold’ without an existing client base. We can advise you on how to attract clients and start a business from scratch – but you need to be prepared there is a lot of work to do – fun work, but lots of it!

Prior Learning
Before operating as a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, it is recommended to complete a course in “Maintain Infection Prevention with Skin Penetration Treatments (Either: HLTINF005, or SHBBINF002)”.

Certification / Accreditation:
Online courses receive a Certificate of Attendance.
This level of certification enables you to perform treatments within your own professional space.
It’s essential to check with your insurance and/or local Council what the requirements are within your area.

Can I bring a friend / colleague?
Yes! For additional students, we will be providing additional resources and trainers.
To maintain our high-level training and include all the extra arrangements we charge an additional 50% per person.
For example, each full day of 1:1 training is AUD 2,200 + 50% for an additional person = AUD 1,650 per person per day.

How do I book a 1:1 Beginner course?
To book a 1:1 beginner course, click here and select your dates individually.
All 1:1 beginner courses go for either 3 days or 6 days in total, we recommend spreading out your dates as much as possible, for example; over 2 - 6 weeks.
Alternatively, choose to attend a beginner course event with other students at a discounted rate. Go to the Home page to find the beginner course of your preference and see details.

What if I'm not confident after training?
Then we continue training you for free!
Here’s how it works, you have a few options:
You may return as a ‘guest’ and attend our group training events on the theory & demo days.
- Return with a model: Book online ‘Free room hire – for graduate students only’ this option starts at 9 am and allows you to use one of our rooms for the morning – Talina is available from 9am – 10am to assist then you can work independently with your model, and, most of our team are just a holla way if you need us.
- Join our Student help forum for unlimited support.
- We also have a Free 1:1 15-minute Masterclass by Zoom (or FaceTime) option. Book the session and let us know what areas you’d like to polish up on.
- We are just a phone call away – reach out! Our priority is your success and we will do everything possible to ensure that happens.

What is your cancelations and refunds policy?
Refundable with 30 days or more notice, however, the AUD 400 booking deposit is non-refundable. The booking deposit may be used towards rescheduling to another date.
With less than 14 days' notice, the booking may not be rescheduled and the deposit will be forfeited.
Once the balance has been settled and you have been granted access to the online pre-learning resources, your payments are non-refundable.

How do I arrange a Payment plan?
You have two great options:
1. Apply through our lending partners at EduPay, It’s a quick, easy process
All you need to do to apply is hit the link here, and await processing. Once approved the finance will be sent directly to your account for you to pay for your course.
2. We can arrange a pre-payment plan directly through us. No applications, no interest, or set-up fees are requested, and you get to nominate your own installment plan.
The only condition is the balance needs to be settled prior to your first day of attendance.

If you want something sooner than what you see in our system, book the first availability you see to secure a spot then contact us to be offered priority for a sooner date.
